JUSTIFICATION

High Fly is a significant short story to share because it highlights the importance of how close relationships influence motivation. In particular, this film justifies the importance of family and how family can affect the desires of younger family members. With this project, the High Fly cast and crew seeks to create a visually appealing short narrative that allows the audience to experience the story of a young athlete’s attempt to reach his goal in their own way. Most sports films, especially those that deal with baseball frequently end with success and happiness. This film creates the opportunity for viewers to choose how they think the story should end.

Aside from the creators and collaborators on this project, the audience will gain insight into the mind of a young athlete. In some cases, this might cause viewers to think back and remember a time in their life where sports were important to them. Additionally, the viewers who may not have taken part in sports at a young age will be provoked to think about what it’s like to make goals and relate to the desire of meeting those goals.
