Elena Nuñez is a filmmaker with a background in documentary making and journalism. Her interests lie primarily behind the camera, specifically in regards to producing and assistant directing. She is currently finishing her bachelors degree at Cal State Monterey, where she is majoring in Cinematic Arts and Technology with a minor in journalism and media studies.

Jesse Krohn is a filmmaker from the San Francisco Bay Area. His passions in film range from absurdist surrealism to raw pieces on neglected history. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Cinematic Arts and Technology from Cal State University, Monterey Bay. Jesse hopes to work as a writer and director of feature films in the near future.

Logan Bennett is a 20-year old student studying Cinematic Arts at California State University Monterey Bay. Bennett grew up in Tracy, California, around six years old, he took an interest in making short films. Bennett would socialize with everyone at family events and record them with a digital camera; he would ask them questions and record the conversations similar to a news reporter. Later, he graduated from Merrill F. West High School with a 4.0 grade point average and got accepted to CSUMB. Bennett's current interests in film are screenwriting and video editing.

Lizzy Bradley

Elizabeth is a third year Cinematic Arts and Technology student at CSU Monterey Bay. She is focusing on Animation, but enjoys learning about all aspects of film. While she does not have much experience in film yet, she is earnest and eager to learn. She has an Associate's Degree in Liberal Studies with an Emphasis in Elementary Education from Columbia Community College in Sonora, CA. She wanted to pursue ESL (English as a Second Language) and teach English in Korean to get back to her roots, but decided to pursue her true passion: Animation.

Gabriela Medrano is a 28 year old Angelino transplant. She is currently on her last year at CSUMB as a Cinematic Arts and Technology major. Her focus is directing, producing and editing documentaries. She is passionate about bringing awareness and action to minority and female issues. Gabriela hopes to one day have a production company that will benefit both minorities and women.

Cristian Duran

Bio:

Cristian is a Cinematographer who hails from Santa Cruz, California. A recent graduate of CSU Monterey Bay's Cinematic Arts and Technology Department, Cristian is currently operating as a freelance camera operator and editor based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Cristian's DP credits can be found in award-winning films such Love Is, which received a Best Short Drama (Student) nod in the 2016 Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival. Along with narrative filmmaking, Cristian also has experience in the realm of broadcast shows, garnering credits for Drone Racing League (ESPN), UFC: Road to the Octagon (FOX), and the Reebok Cross-fit Games (ESPN), along with numerous others. As Director of Photography for High Fly, Cristian's innovative approach to camera movement will serve to enhance the immersive experience for our audience.

Born and raised in Santa Ana, CA, Christian moved to Monterey Bay to attend CSUMB in pursuit of a degree in film. More focused on the visual side of a piece, he enjoys cinematography, lighting, and camera operation. While having been D.P. on various small films, he also enjoys working as AC to further advance his knowledge of camera gear and film technique.

I am a 3rd year student at CSUMB studying Cinematic Arts and Technology with a minor in Journalism. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family or traveling to unusual places. One day I hope to be a reporter or film documentaries that explore our societies social injustices. 

Cesar Salazar has always shown an interest in film as a child. Making short films with childhood friends he has been passionate to create and pursue his goal of becoming a Director. He's dedicated to learn everything there is to know in the field, as he's always excited to tackle his next project. Holds an Associate's Degree in the Arts from El Camino Community College in Torrance, CA.

He is a second year, Cinematic Arts student from Southern California who has a passion for filmmaking. Evan has been pursuing this dream of being a storyteller since he was a young teen. He hopes to have a career in the industry telling stories that need to be told in a unique way. Evan is currently working towards completing his Bachelors degree at Cal State University Monterey Bay.
